這座兩層樓、歷經四十年的老宅，靜靜收藏著歲月的紋理。設計團隊以新舊交融為題，讓時間的質感與現代的呼吸在光影流轉間緩緩展開。
為了迎接陽光的到來，入口處的門與窗皆選用了大片玻璃，使自然光能第一時間穿透室內。從玄關一路延伸至客廳，腳下深綠與白交錯的棋盤地坪，是老屋的靈魂，也是記憶的底色；而廚房牆面與廁所則鋪上相近色系的細長綠釉磁磚，讓新舊之間得以溫柔呼應。
原先廚房後方的屋簷曾遮斷日照，如今換上透明屋頂，天光沿著大片窗牆傾瀉而下，為空間注入清朗氣息。光線順著廚房的鐵件窗框灑入屋內，經過鏽化處理的金屬質感延續著老宅的溫度；同時，木質櫥櫃與俐落線條又讓懷舊底蘊與當代的輕盈自然交融。
拾級而上，來到屋內最幽暗的轉角與走廊，階梯仍保留著紅白交錯的細緻磁磚，宛如時光留下的腳印。推開二樓臥室的房門，視野驟然開闊，大面窗戶引入日光，灑落在溫潤的木地板與柔軟的寢具上，帶來靜謐卻充滿生命力的氛圍。
自一樓迎光的玄關，到承載記憶的紅白階梯，再到二樓明亮的臥室，這座老宅以光為引，串起舊日的質地與今日的節奏。時間在這裡，不是流逝，而是被溫柔收藏，化作一首悠長而明亮的詩。
This two-story home, standing for over forty years, quietly preserves the textures of time. The design team embraced the dialogue between past and present, letting the patina of years and the breath of the modern day unfold gently in the play of light and shadow.
To welcome the sun, wide glass doors and windows open the entrance to natural light, allowing it to pour in at first glance. From the foyer to the living room, the deep-green and white checkerboard floor becomes the soul of the house and the backdrop of memory, while slender green-glazed tiles in the kitchen and bath echo those tones, creating a subtle harmony between old and new.
Where the eaves once blocked the daylight at the rear of the kitchen, a transparent roof now invites the sky. Sunlight cascades along the tall window wall, filling the space with a clear, airy spirit. The light traces the iron window frames—weathered with a gentle patina—extending the home’s quiet warmth, while wooden cabinetry and clean, modern lines weave nostalgia with contemporary ease.
Ascending the staircase, you enter the dimmest corner of the house. The steps still carry their red-and-white patterned tiles, like footprints left by time itself. Beyond the door to the second-floor bedroom, the scene opens wide: generous windows draw daylight across warm wooden floors and soft bedding, casting a calm yet vibrant glow.
From the sunlit foyer below, to the memory-laden staircase, and finally to the bright upstairs bedroom, the house follows a path of light that links yesterday’s textures with today’s rhythm. Here, time does not slip away—it is tenderly kept, becoming a long, luminous poem.
